Job Title : Quality Engineer I
Location : Columbus, IN
Duration : 06 Months On W2 Contract
On-Site | 3rd Shift
Hours : Sunday - Thursday 11 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
Must Haves :
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, Quality control principles, and statistical methods. Examples of these can include Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, SPC, etc.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams within the organization, including production, engineering, and supply chain.
- The ability to convey quality objectives, providing training on quality processes, and facilitate cross-functional teamwork.
- Problem solving skills.
- Must be adept at identifying and addressing quality issues in a proactive and systematic manner. This includes the ability to analyze complex data, trouble shoot problems, and implement effective solutions to prevent defect and non-conformances.
- Attention to detail and reliability. The candidate should be detail-oriented and committed to upholding high standards.
- Should demonstrate a strong sense of accountability as they will be responsible for ensuring that products meet customer requirements, industry regulations, and internal quality standards.
Education :
College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject or experience equivalent is preferred.
