What You'll Do
The Vice President - AI and Data Integration, Information Technology will lead mission-critical projects to develop and implement technical solutions that meet the growing business needs. This role will engage closely with the Operations, Trading, Compliance, Finance, and Marketing teams, as well as internal and external technology partners. The role will be responsible for developing and testing data integrations between internal systems and business partners, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Additionally, the role will involve developing new applications, including front-end, middle-tier, and backend databases, while also supporting existing systems. The role will involve mentoring and technical oversight on the activities by the team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide AI and machine learning strategies to enhance investment research, operational efficiency, and client analytics across Aristotle's data ecosystem.
- Oversee the design and implementation of AI-driven data integration frameworks, leveraging technologies such as natural language processing (NLP) and predictive modeling to improve data quality, interoperability, and decision-making.
- Develop integration functionality supporting front, middle, and back-office teams on business applications related to security master, market data, settlements, data reconciliation, and performance measurement.
- Provide support for existing business applications, including Bloomberg, FactSet, Jira, and Charles River.
- Enhance and support the Aristotle Data Warehouse.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and evaluate detailed technical requirements.
- Assist in system testing and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and escalate high-level / high-risk systems failures.
- Provide application support and communicate with users on system status, changes, problems, and enhancements.
- Review code developed by team members to ensure adherence to standards and high code quality.
- Create frameworks and utilities for code standardization across teams.
- Train users on new software / business upgrades and document procedures for reference and training new employees.
- Develop new workflows or enhance existing workflows to meet technical requirements.
- Establish, manage, and monitor service levels for job runs and completion timings.
- Plan and perform disaster recovery testing.
- Coordinate software implementations and upgrades with vendors and outside consultants.
- Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiencies across the firm.
- Write database queries to provide data extracts and reports.
- Document results of data analysis comprehensively, clearly, and concisely.
- Review technical solutions and documents for team members to ensure quality

Qualifications :
10+ years of technical experience in the financial services industry, with a proven record of success.A minimum of 5 years of experience in the asset management industry is required.At least 4 years of hands-on experience with AI and machine learning.Four-year degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.Deep understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science tools (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure ML, or AWS SageMaker) with the ability to translate complex models into actionable business insights.Proficiency in modern data architectures (e.g., data lakes, APIs, ETL pipelines) and AI-powered integration platforms that enable scalable analytics and automation across cloud and on-prem environments.Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams to deploy AI solutions in investment management or financial operations, aligning technology initiatives with firm-wide strategic objectives.Strong technical background with experience in buy-side investment.Proficiency in Snowflake database, Python, and training or using ML models.Experience with DBT, Matillion, or comparative ELT tools.Familiarity with AWS cloud, Power Automate, Power BI, SQL, and Visio.Hands-on experience with SSIS or any other ETL tool.Working knowledge of DevOps, CI / CD, and Jira.Strong communication skills for internal and external technical discussions.Ability to mentor and guide team members.Advanced problem-solving skills and initiative to improve processes and procedures.Experience with Charles River, FactSet, and Bloomberg interfaces.Proficiency in developing Powershell scripts, batch files, or UNIX shell scripts.Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite.Experience working with security data across financial markets, including equities, fixed income securities, bank loans, and derivatives like futures and forwards.What We Offer

Compensation Range : $200,000.00 - $225,000.00 plus discretionary bonus.
The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, education, internal equity, and physical work location within the state.
