Manufacturing Technician Rough Special Process - 2nd Shift (P)

Job Description

A Snapshot of Your Day

Will be working with core material from the inside of the castings, loading and unloading parts into core removal baskets. Will be flushing parts and monitoring core removal cycle performance using PLC and charting. Hoists are utilized to help with the loading / unloading process. This will be in the Gibsonton Florida location.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Will be checking and reporting any Safety opportunities or near miss and ensuring all parts are properly rinsed / flushed after acid process.
• Examining finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications and quality.
• Performing basic or specifically defined maintenance operations; cooperating with maintenance technicians and / or external service providers in repair issues.
• Operating equipment and performing some manufacturing operations including but not limited to wax assembly, injection, sandblast, grinding, or knockout to determine the best process and to expedite engineering parts.
• Other duties may be assigned and cross-training as needed.
