Servicenow Business Analyst (New Haven)

A client is looking for a Business Analyst to support ad hoc requests surrounding ServiceNow enhancements and adjustments based on needs from the business. This person will be meeting with stakeholders to understand what pain points or gaps they are seeing with the software, and write technical requirements for the development teams so that they can add or adjust modules in ServiceNow. Once the development is complete, this Business Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the UAT testing with the business, as well as operational readiness testing when ready for production. This person will be handling requirements specifically surrounding modules in ServiceNow such as Change, Incident, Knowledge, Problem, Field Service Management, and Hardware Asset Management, so they should ideally be well-versed in understanding how they work from past experiences. This person should also have strong verbal and written communication skills in order to work in tandem with business stakeholders and build relationships, along with writing clear concise requirements. This person needs to be comfortable with the rate of $50-60 / hr dependant on experience level.

Experience working for Higher Education

7+ years of experience in Business Analysis in the IT field

3+ years of experience working with ServiceNow modules

Strong recent experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders

Strong recent experience translating business requirements into technical requirements and working with technical development teams

Experience overseeing UAT testing and User Readiness testing

Strong communication skills
