Position Summary : The Maintenance Assistant plays a key role in ensuring our facility operates smoothly and remains a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff. You will assist with routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections, working collaboratively with the Maintenance Director and other team members.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address safety hazards and maintenance needs.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of building grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and debris removal.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
