- . Plans, conducts and performs a variety of chemical productions and process developments under general supervision.
- Utilizes or adapts new methods under guided supervision for updating existing synthesis procedures in order to improve yields, reduce production time and waste.
- Keeps abreast of most recent technological developments pertaining to new products and applying to new products R / D under guided supervision
- Troubleshoots and resolves standard production problems with full understanding of chemistries and analytical tools for progress of reactions
- May supervise activities of lower chemists ensuring guided procedures or scale-ups in effective and safe manner
- Attends technical meetings, conferences, seminars and reads current literature to keep up with up to date scientific knowledge.
