Job Summary :
The Facility Service Member is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and overall upkeep of the Facility Clubhouse and surrounding areas.This role combines janitorial duties with light maintenance responsibilities to maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for members and guests.The Maintenance Porter plays a key role in supporting the facility’s day-to-day operations, working both independently and as part of the team.Duties / Responsibilities :
Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, fitness facilities and shower rooms, restocking supplies as needed.Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces.Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly.Perform light maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and minor repairs.Address spills, stains, and other cleaning emergencies promptly.Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces for a polished appearance.Maintain outdoor areas, including patios, walkways, and entrances, by removing debris and ensuring a tidy environment.Assist with basic event setup and teardown as needed.Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas needing cleaning or minor repairs.Report larger maintenance or repair issues to the Maintenance Supervisor for follow-up.Restock and maintain cleaning supplies and materials inventory.Perform other related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Experience in janitorial or light maintenance work.Basic knowledge of tools and equipment for cleaning and minor repairs.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent.Familiarity with light maintenance processes and tools.Previous experience in a hospitality, facility, or clubhouse setting.Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of standing, walking and talking.Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.Bend or twist their body.Repeat the same movements.Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at once.Work Schedule :
This Full-Time position works weekday and weekend hours and may include holidays.The schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the organization.Other Duties :
