Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of NY are seeking Site Supervisors to lead School Day+ Programs (SDY+) serving 3-K and Pre-K for All students in funded programs in Washington Heights. This afternoon program is designed to serve families of enrolled children by providing additional programming and childcare through enrichment, structured play, and exploration.

What You'll Do
Lead the day-to-day operations of a high-quality after-school program for 3 and 4-year-olds (assigned to only one site).Coach and support staff in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activitiesEnsure alignment with NYC Public Schools PreK for All curriculum and early childhood best practicesPromote positive behavior guidance in a warm, inclusive learning environmentServe as a key liaison between staff, school administration, and familiesUse observation and assessment tools to support individual student needsSupport documentation and compliance requirements in coordination with school leadershipRequirements
Must Have :
Current NY State Teaching Certification in Early Childhood or Childhood Education (Study plan status can be considered at certain locations.)At least 2 years of lead teaching or program management experience in an Early Childhood settingStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsFamiliarity with NY Public Schools PKFA / 3KFA procedures(Additional NYC DOH required documentation will be needed if hired for the position)Preferred :
Bilingual language skillsFirst Aid / CPR and EpiPen trainingExperience supervising or coaching teams in educational settingsSchedule
