We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Kingston, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of software quality through the development and execution of robust testing strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of reliable and efficient products.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases to validate both new and existing system features.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks for functional, regression, and performance evaluations.
- Select and integrate appropriate testing tools, such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, to streamline automation processes.
- Utilize GitHub Copilot to enhance test development efficiency and maintain high code quality.
- Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth and high-quality software releases.
- Conduct code reviews with a focus on identifying and improving testability and overall product quality.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, including test coverage, defect rates, and performance indicators.
- Maintain and optimize CI / CD pipeline integration for automated testing workflows.
- Continuously refine QA processes and tools to align with evolving industry standards and best practices.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Proficiency in using GitHub Copilot to accelerate testing and enhance code quality.
- Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins for automated testing integration.
- Solid understanding of software development and collaboration within DevOps environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Background in computer science or a related field, with experience in regression analysis and defect management.
