Job Description
A day in the life
You start on the shop floor, checking FTF measurement dashboards and walking machining cells to spot waste. A CNC program tweak here, a fixture refinement there—then it’s back to your desk to finalize a PPAP pack and align timing, costs, and budgets for a small process change. After lunch, you sit with product design to simplify a feature for manufacturability, run a quick 5 Why on an inspection finding, and share a lean tip with a teammate. You close out by confirming safety, health, and environmental measures are on point and that suppliers are ready for tomorrow’s trials.
