Overview
The Lead IoT Engineer will support and grow Ecolab's digital transformation through the development of IoT-enabled systems. This role in RD&E is part of the IoT Innovation team and focuses on concept generation, prototyping, and testing embedded hardware and firmware systems that enable the next-generation of connectivity across Ecolab's global platforms.
In this position, you will execute a variety of engineering initiatives with a focus on rapid prototyping, feasibility testing, providing technical guidance, and some post-launch support of IoT solutions. The work involves the adaptation and integration of commercially available IoT technologies, development of custom solutions and the creation of platform technologies that can be leveraged across multiple business units. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, define high-level system architecture, and deliver innovative solutions that meet our business and operational goals.
This is a hands-on engineering role that blends technical depth with creativity and systems thinking. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to both front-end innovation and technical guidance. Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $104,700.00 - $157,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
