Celebree School of Rockville is dedicated to the goal of excellence in early education. We are looking for dynamic & talented Lead Teachers for the infant / toddler classrooms at our early childhood education center in Rockville, MD.

Job Summary :

As a Lead Infant / Toddler Teacher at Celebree School, you'll have the extraordinary opportunity to shape the earliest stages of our little ones' development, creating a nurturing and enriching environment that fosters growth and exploration. As a Lead Infant / Toddler Teacher, you'll also have the opportunity to help navigate classroom Aides through their journey into the world of early childhood education with confidence and compassion.

Responsibilities :

As a Lead Infant / Toddler Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to :

Navigate the day's activities alongside our infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate their first steps.

Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with all Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.

Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.

Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree's infant curriculum

Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.

Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking

Qualifications :

Must meet the requirements to be a Lead Teacher as approved by MSDE's Office of Child Care (the governing State agency).

This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements

The ability to manage a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. patience, flexibility.

Physical Demands : The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The job requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, lifting and carrying; ability to lift 50 pounds.

Education / Experience : Must meet all Teacher requirements per State regulations.

Specific Skills :

Certification in CPR & First Aid.

Computer skills, familiar with educational software and curriculum.

Education :

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License / Certification :

45+45 hours of training completed (Required)

CPR Certification (Preferred)

Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
