Position Title :
- Human Resources (HR) Manager Reports To : VP of Human Resources & Safety Location : Hockley, Texas Employment Type : Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to lead core human resources functions within our organization.
- Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources & Safety, this individual will oversee performance management, employee engagement, benefits administration, and payroll processes.
- The HR Manager will play a key role in shaping a positive and productive workplace culture, driving compliance, and partnering with leadership to support business goals.

Key Responsibilities Performance Management :
Lead the full performance management cycle including goal setting, annual appraisals, and performance improvement plans.Employee Engagement & Culture :
Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and reinforce company values.Benefits Administration :
Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering clear communication to staff.Payroll Oversight :
Supervise weekly payroll processing with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.Policy Development & Compliance :
Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbooks.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.Employee Relations :
Provide guidance to department heads on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.HR Reporting & Analytics :
Track key HR metrics (turnover, headcount, engagement, etc.) and provide reports and insights to leadership.Onboarding & Offboarding :
Oversee smooth onboarding for new hires and structured offboarding for departing employees, including exit interviews and documentation.Compliance & Risk Management :
Monitor changes in labor laws and ensure company practices remain compliant with all relevant regulations.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or HR management role.Strong knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and payroll practices.Proficiency with HRIS systems and payroll platforms (e.g., Paycom, ADP, BambooHR).Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.PHR / SPHR or SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP certification preferred (not required).
