Eaton s PCS division is currently seeking a Service Sales Specialist to join the team. This position can be based at either our Delta, BC or Kamloops, BC offices and offers benefits from day one. This is a hybrid role with approximately 50% travel.
What you ll do :
In this role you will be responsible for achieving assigned Sales and Orders objectives for Engineering Services and applicable Eaton products, focusing on key target accounts in the British Columbia market. You'll also manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers, contractors, and consultants, to drive sustainable sales growth. This role builds strong customer relationships through creating holistic, solution based electrical service proposals.
Sales Implement sales plans and growth strategies, to achieve annual performance objectives. Prepare sales proposals and value propositions to satisfy customer needs and expectations. Understand, and be responsive to, market conditions and competitive activities; Communicate such information internally to drive corrective actions and inform Regional and District strategies. Continual utilization of customer leads through CRM for measurement and to support a sales pipeline of opportunities. Promote Eaton Engineering Services and products to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability. Lead planning and attend promotional events such as trade shows and training. This will include completing professional presentations to promote Eaton products and Engineering Services.
Collaboration Achieve team Orders and Sales goals. Maintain co-operative and credible working relationships with internal personnel and channel, to consistently exceed customer expectations.
Customer Relationships Cultivate customer, channel, and internal relationships. Develop bid strategies and quotations for customers using price and delivery guidelines, applying sound business decisions to enhance sales volume and margins.

Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of sales experience, including 2 years of outside sales in the electrical industry. This role will cover the BC territory and will be very active in the territory day to day, including overnight travel. A technical background (like technologist or engineering education) is preferred given the technical nature of this role. Candidates should be familiar with reading single line diagrams and schematic diagrams.
Compensation is 84,000 to 115,000 base salary + 25% sales incentive plan bonus target.
