About The Position

• Certifications Required : BLS, ARDMS, ND state lic
• NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENTFIT TESTING / FACIAL HAIR- Please note, if a clinician for this facility has facial hair, they will be required to pass the either the Primary or Secondary fit test (3M Aura 1860 sm or reg / 3M 1870+). If unable to pass - A Portacount test would be required, which CANNOT be completed on clinicians with facial hair & PAPR CANNOT be completed on site solely due to failing because of facial hair - contract would be canceled if facial hair cannot be removed.- Will they have to float / cover any other areas? : Xray coverage if possible- Common types of imaging / studies performed & Job Duties : Arterial extremities, venous extremities, small parts, breast, carotid, OB, pediatric spine, pediatric head, abdomen, renal dopplers, pelvic, and echo- Experience or 'Must have' skills : vascular, OB, Breast & abdomen small parts experiece. Xray experience preferred.- EMR & / or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System : software & hardware) do they use : Meditech- Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) : Philips Epic US machines. Siemens C-arm, x-ray, CT scanner, portable x-ray, and GE portable x-ray- Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift? : Yes during the day, by phone on nights. Night techs work alone- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) : Mixed shifts with varied start times / / Team scheduling- Weekend Requirements : Yes - varies- Holiday Requirements : Yes- Call or Standby requirement? : Yes- How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? : Depends on experience- Additional Notes : Friendly environment, everyone helps each other, staff is cross trained to help in multiple areas. Attributes that help make a tech successful in this department include communication, teamwork, approachability, and friendlyRadius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.Updated : 5 / 1 / 24 Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting BSN License to Trauma Care Shift start times + weekends & Call Required , BLS Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Contract Weeks : 91
