Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team!

Are you ready to make a difference in patient care? We are excited to announce openings for Nights, Days, and Swing shifts at three convenient locations, all within a 20-minute drive from New Orleans . Explore the opportunities below and find the perfect fit for you!

Site 1 : Comprehensive Care

Facility : 180 beds

Team : 3 hospitalists, 1 swing, 1 nocturnist

Swing Shift

  • Time : 4 PM - 2 AM
  • Focus : Primarily admissions
  • Floor calls and admits : 4 PM - 6 PM
  • EMR : EPIC
  • Rate : $210 / hr

Nights

  • Time : 6 PM - 6 AM
  • Rate : $220 / hr

    • Site 2 : Community-Focused CareDays

  • Time : 7 AM - 7 PM
  • Census : 13-16 patients
  • Admissions : 1-2 per shift
  • Procedures : Handled by Emergency Medicine (EM)
  • EMR : EPIC
  • Rate : $200 / hr

    • Site 3 : Academic Community Hospital

    Facility : Community hospital with academic ties

    Team : 3 hospitalists, 1 days APP, 1 swing APP (2 PM - 12 AM), 1 nocturnist

    Total Hospitalist Census : 40-60 (lower in the summer)

    Days

  • Time : 7 AM - 7 PM
  • Admissions : 1-2, round robin
  • Swing APP : Covers admits after 2 PM
  • Open ICU : Co-managed by LSU pulm / CC team (7 : 30 AM - 5 PM)
  • Rate : $200 / hr

    • Nights

  • Time : 7 PM - 7 AM
  • Admissions : 4-6
  • Swing APP Coverage : 2 PM - 12 AM
  • Open ICU : No procedures, EM handles codes
  • Subspecialties : IR, Cardiology, Nephrology, Palliative Care
  • Televirtualist : Option during heavy volume
  • Rate : $220 / hr
