Job Title : Associate Production Planner
Location : Reynoldsburg, OH 43068
Duration : 3 months with possibility of extension
The Associate Production Planner is an individual contributor responsible for managing the end-to-end order management process across multiple brand channels. This includes article creation, purchase order management, issue resolution with offshore teams, on-order reporting, and delivery tracking. The role requires tactical cross-functional communication with regional partners, monitoring production status, and resolving day-to-day operational issues with minimal supervision.
This position involves prioritising and organising tasks autonomously after onboarding, escalating only when necessary, and providing accurate reporting on production and order-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management
- Initiate and manage purchase orders (POs), including amendments and resolution of discrepancies.
- Monitor and report on on-order status, audit monthly, and respond to weekly OSR updates.
- Track dye and cut dates and ensure delivery tracking is maintained accurately.
- Direct the offshore COMs team to input data into the Mainframe and SAP.
- Follow up on planning requests to adjust on-order details.
- Manage tactical issue resolution related to on-order items and articles.
- Complete value-added services and support cross-functional problem-solving.
- Filter and escalate issues appropriately.
Liabilities & Cancellations
Review and interpret liabilities; ensure timely confirmation post-order placement.Manage liability reporting and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.Perform commitment contract and raw material reconciliation.Manage dispute cases and assess risks of expiring liabilities.Document cancellations for monthly meetings and manage tactical system tasks for order cancellations.Capacity & Production Planning
Ensure accuracy of on-order data and commitments without POs.Support creation and maintenance of production schedules (CGL).Update tracking documents to align with cross-functional teams.Enter GNG dates in WIPS and participate in weekly WIPS meetings.Focus on speed orders, immediate issue resolution, and escalation when necessary.Publish order schedules for both flow and new fashion styles.Maintain reporting for late deliveries and floor set updates.Cross-Functional Communication
Collaborate with Logistics, DC Operations, Deployment, Planning, Merchants, Product Development, Regional teams, Vendors, Commercialization, Product Performance, and Textiles teams to ensure smooth operations.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.1–3 years of experience in a related production or order management role.At least one internship in a corporate environment is preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.Strong work ethic and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
