Job Summary And Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit / department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies / procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization's vision / mission / values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance. As an RN Coordinator in the Behavioral Health Center at our facility you will be joining a team that has a passion for creating positive patient interactions and a dedication to caring for the multi-faceted wellness of those we serve. In this role :
• You will coordinate the outpatient clinic operations and provide direct nursing care to psychiatric outpatients.
• You will assess patients for educational, physiological, psychosocial, comfort and safety needs.
• You will support and coach clinic staff.
• You will ensure appropriate patient flow, medical record organization and medication reconciliation.
• You will provide support for the psychiatrists and nurse practitioners who perform various services for the Behavioral Health Center. Qualifications :
• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
• ACLS / PALS certification provided upon hire
• Certification in Non Violent Physical Crisis Intervention within 90 days of hire
• Psychiatric clinic experience required
