Role Definition : Responds to customer inquiries and provides support to the escrow department by performing the duties outlined below :
I. Provides support and leadership to insurance, tax & escrow staff and is responsible for the management of daily Escrow Department functions.
II. Monitors Insurance Document Processing Queues.
III. Monitors Insurance Due Report to ensure timely payment of insurance billings.
IV. Oversees flood vendor relationships - including the monitoring of flood map changes, notifications to homeowners and compliance with flood insurance requirements.
V. Oversees tax vendor relationship - including the ordering of tax contracts and payments to agencies.
VI. Monitors all aspects of Mortgage Insurance compliance, including payment of premium and terminations for Private Mortgage Insurance, FHA, and RD.
VII. Responsible for coordination of Annual Escrow Analysis on all escrowed loans & other special projects related to escrow.
VIII. Coordinates loss draft process, ensuring Investor compliance and timely disbursement.
IX. Provides documentation for internal & external audits and coordinates the implementation of required process changes.
X. Responds to escalated concerns from borrowers, conducts research and response to appropriate parties.
Requirements :
Required Education : High school diploma
Required Work Experience : Three to five years related mortgage banking, insurance or banking experience and / or equivalent combination. One to 2 years supervisory or management experience.
Technology Skills : Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Required Skills or traits for the position : Excellent customer service and time management skills, effective written and verbal communication, able to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrate analytical decision making and problem solving skills.
Specialized Training / Certifications : Knowledge of Mortgage Banking Industry
