job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDriving : 1 year (Preferred) CDL Class A (Required) Deliver commercial, farm, and home heating fuel. Collaborate with the supervisor on market analysis, pricing strategies, and sales goals. Monitor and report competitive pricing and practices. Promote “Regular Scheduled Delivery” and larger on-site storage. Respond to after-hours calls as needed. Invoice deliveries promptly and accurately. Submit daily load sheets and Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Reports. Conduct inventories as directed. Maintain cleanliness of delivery equipment, including trucks, cab interiors, hoses, and nozzles. Clean and report small spills (5 gallons or less). Avoid charging sales to COD patrons or without approved credit. Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment. Report unsafe conditions and needed repairs to the supervisor. Perform additional tasks as assigned, ensuring interdepartmental cooperation. Promote company-wide sales programs. Must be able to pull a 1½ inch hose, full of product, up to a distance of 150 feet. Some lifting of 50 pounds or more. Must work outdoors for extended periods of time; sometimes in cold and inclement weather. Must work during times of limited lighting conditions. Must be available to respond to random drug and alcohol testing per company policy.
