We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Sales Manager to spearhead our event services division. This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in business development and a deep understanding of the sales industry. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, driven to exceed results, and possess excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Sales Manager, you will be responsible for :
1. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area or market segment(s).
2. Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through active networking, cold-calling, and other lead generation techniques.
3. Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal.
4. Utilizing CRM software to track all sales activities and client details for future reference.
5. Providing professional after-sales support to enhance customers’ dedication and ensure repeat business.
6. Collaborating with team members to achieve better results and understanding customer requirements to guide the team.
7. Preparing and delivering regular sales forecasts and progress reports to senior management.
8. Staying up-to-date with new product launches and ensuring sales team members are on board.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, you will need :
1. A minimum of 5+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably in the event services industry.
2. Proven experience in prospecting and lead generation.
3. Strong understanding and experience with CRM software, specifically HubSpot.
4. Familiarity with ZoomInfo or similar prospecting tools.
5. Excellent customer engagement skills with a customer-focused approach.
6. The ability to identify and qualify sales opportunities effectively.
7. Exceptional time management skills and a positive attitude.
8. A network of established connections within the industry.
9. Previous experience in the event services sector is a must.
