The Minneapolis based group at Stantec works on a wide variety of industrial food and beverage, process, chemical, agricultural, and other manufacturing projects. From retrofit / upgrade projects to brownfield additions, to complete greenfield facility installations, we partner with clients through all phases of the project lifecycle to deliver high quality designs and outcomes.
Your Opportunity
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be the Business Center's Electrical Subject Matter Expert, designated chief reviewer / approver, and PE / signatory for electrical projects requiring stamping. You will provide high-level review / oversight of electrical designs for the group, and consult / support / lead on evaluation, recommendation, and specification for large power systems (generally 480 V up to 34.5 kV) on projects where required, verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards. Tasks may include calculations, deliverable preparation, client meetings, and field support for information gathering, start-up and commissioning.

Reporting Relationships
This role reports to the electrical group manager with additional informal reporting to project managers. You will not have direct reports, but you will oversee other team members on project-related activities.

Pay and Benefits
Locations in MN, VT, and various CA, NY areas – pay range listed : minimum salary around $128,600 to $192,900. Pay transparency information is provided where required by law. Benefits include medical, dental, vision plans, 401(k), life and disability coverage, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave where applicable. Some details vary by location and employee type.
