Responsibilities :
- Drive new business by proactively contacting prospects and developing new commercial P&C client relationships.
- Schedule and conduct consultative sales presentations to address client insurance needs.
- Gather and analyze client business information to deliver customized insurance quotes and recommendations.
- Network to build centers of influence and leverage referrals to maximize sales opportunities.
- Cross-sell additional lines and refer clients to other departments to ensure comprehensive coverage and service.
- Document all client interactions and sales activities in the agency management system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, consistently exceeding client expectations.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor offerings within the insurance sector.
Must-Have Skills :
Valid Property & Casualty License (or ability to obtain upon hire).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong negotiation capabilities and attention to detail.Motivated, organized, and able to work independently.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.Nice-to-Have Skills :
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field.Prior B2B sales experience in insurance or related industries.Experience using Applied Systems EPIC or similar agency management software.Established network of industry contacts and knowledge of commercial insurance market niches.Demonstrated ability to participate actively in sales meetings and team activities.
