Legal Assistant Duties :
Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, including petitions, motions, and correspondence.
File and organize legal documents with courts and agencies (both electronically and in person).
Maintain case files and ensure deadlines and court dates are tracked and met.
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and client meetings.
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.
Conduct basic legal research and gather supporting case information.
Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
Process incoming / outgoing mail, scan, and maintain accurate records.
Support billing by tracking time and preparing client invoices.
