What you'll be doing :
Perform repair and maintenance on all plant machinery, facilities, and grounds.
Monitor mechanical equipment during operation and listen for irregularities to identify potential issues.
Disassemble machinery and equipment to access and replace faulty components.
Examine worn or damaged parts to assess dimensional changes and determine repair needs.
Calibrate and adjust components and control instruments to ensure proper functionality.
Replace or repair malfunctioning parts and conduct thorough lubrication and cleaning of equipment.
Test machinery performance by initiating operation after maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and control panels.
Maintain accurate maintenance records in accordance with quality procedures.
Perform routine safety inspections across the facility to ensure equipment compliance.
Complete and submit maintenance request forms as needed.
Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and document in PM logbooks upon completion.
Adhere to all safety standards and protocols as outlined by OSHA and ANSI regulations.
Submit requisitions for parts and materials required for equipment repairs, following proper approval procedures.
Supply and maintain personal tool inventory for daily use.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Service and maintain auxiliary equipment, ensuring completed work is properly tagged and documented.
What you bring to the table :
Solid understanding of plant machinery, including electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC systems.
Proficient in interpreting complex technical instructions presented in mathematical, schematic, or diagram formats, and capable of solving both abstract and practical problems.
Ability to read, comprehend, and apply information from safety guidelines, equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and operational documents.
Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and maintaining plant systems, with strong functional knowledge across mechanical and electronic components.
Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including troubleshooting and making program modifications using appropriate diagnostic tools.
