Southern Stone Surfaces is looking for a CAD / CAM Specialist to join our team in Nashville. If you’re skilled in AlphaCAM, Slabsmith, and have a background in fabrication, this is your opportunity to contribute to high-end residential and commercial projects in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Create and optimize CNC programs for stone countertop fabrication using AlphaCAM Draft and manage digital templates and layouts in Slabsmith Interpret and refine CAD drawings for production use Collaborate with templators to verify field measurements and ensure design accuracy Communicate effectively with the production team to troubleshoot issues and maintain workflow Maintain organized records of job files, revisions, and production notes Ensure all programming aligns with material specifications and project timelines Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a fabrication or manufacturing environment Proficiency in AlphaCAM and Slabsmith (or similar CAD / CAM software) Strong understanding of CNC machinery and stone fabrication processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience in countertop or stone fabrication is a plus Work Environment Full-time, on-site position at our Nashville facility Fast-paced, hands-on environment focused on precision, craftsmanship, and teamwork About Southern Stone Surfaces Southern Stone Surfaces is a leading countertop fabrication company specializing in high-quality stone surfaces for residential and commercial spaces.
