Analyze and resolve issues with power supplies, analog / digital circuits, and communication systems. Work cross-functionally to ensure product quality, maintain design documentation, and uphold quality control standards. Apply CAD tools (Altium, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and testing equipment to bring new ideas from concept to production. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2–4 years of related hardware design and testing experience. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with electronic CAD software (Altium, SolidWorks, AutoCAD preferred). NovaTech Automation is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join our growing team in Lenexa, KS.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, eager to work on cutting-edge automation equipment, and motivated to contribute to solutions that support critical infrastructure worldwide.
As a Hardware Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic hardware.
You will collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure our products meet rigorous performance, safety, and compliance standards while driving innovation in substation automation.
From CAD design to stress testing, you’ll be hands-on in building and refining the systems that power tomorrow’s electrical grids. What You’ll Do Design and Develop :
