Job Overview

The RN Infusion Clinical Nurse plans, directs, and coordinates daily patient care activities. Ensure adherence to established clinical policies, protocols, regulations, and standards. The RN provides nursing care, within the scope of practice, to patients under standards of nursing care and primary care provider orders. The RN serves as the clinical oversight and receives medication direction from the medical staff. The RN upholds the principles of AltaMed's Vision, Mission, and Value Statements. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information at all times.

Minimum Requirements

• Accredited school of nursing graduate with a current California State Board of Nursing Registered Nurse License required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care, ambulatory care, or infusion center is required.
• Current valid license as a registered nurse through the California Board of Registered Nursing is required.
• Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) is preferred.
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• BLS certification is required.
• Completion of the Fundamentals of Infusion Therapy training program provided through the Infusion Nurses Society preferred or to be obtained within the first 6 months of hire.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred

Compensation

$87,526.40 - $109,408.00 annually
