The City of Pomona currently has a Community Services Officer I Report Taker vacancy for a qualified individual eager to contribute to a positive, community-oriented team. Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of administrative and non-emergency field duties. Candidates must be available to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
As staffing needs evolve, this flexible classification may also support other areas of the Police Department, such as Community Crime Prevention, Front Desk Operations, Subpoena Service, Dispatch Call Taker, Court Filing, and Uniforms and Equipment. Essential Duties
Report Taker Assignment :
Essential duties require the following physical skills and work environment : Ability to sit, stand, walk, run, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.; exposure to noise, outdoors, and traffic hazards; ability to travel to different sites and locations; availability for shift work, irregular work schedule, on-call, and stand-by.
