About the Role :
The Brand Manager, Skincare, is responsible for executing the strategic vision of Arbonne and the marketing organization. With guidance and direction, the Brand Manager will help ensure all products, communications, promotions, and initiatives align with the brand directive. He / she / they will be responsible for assuring that targeted milestones relating to product launches, product improvements, or portfolio changes are completed on time and with excellence. The Brand Manager will also own, with supervision, all marketing plan execution elements, including product briefs, claims, in-market product changes, cost and margin analysis, the development of collateral materials, and any other details identified within their respective category of responsibility.
Responsibilities :
- Execute and manage day-to-day projects for the category with precision, accuracy, and organization based on the category strategy and with a self-starting attitude
- Gather and lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving situations, escalating when needed
- Guarantee that all steps in the NPI Process are completed on time and in full with a strong sense of ownership for products
- Works closely with Product Manager to adhere closely to NPI Tracker and timelines and ensure that all tasks get accomplished and a key active participant in category meetings
- Innovate inside the category plan to help ideate and brief products, key stakeholder for briefing the cross-functional team on new products and guiding them through the development, implementation, delivery, and marketing of those products
- Support 3-5 yr. Innovation Pipeline in partnership with leadership
- Initiate product briefs based on strategy by developing prelim claims and names and working with R&D and Regulatory to vet claims feasibility
- Provide business analysis and key data to support the product ideation process
- Paint a clear and compelling picture of new products and helps identify key points of difference
- Own in-market product changes requests, spearheading cross-functional solutions
- Assess the feasibility of products based on the cost of goods and margin analysis compared to competitive products
- Analyze data to help kick off marketing forecast requests
- Ensure appropriate marketing efforts are in place for launch support education, training, and web and approves creative and digital assets for accuracy
- Provide weekly updates on projects to international team leads
- Create campaign briefs, manage creative partners and deliverables
- Provides general social media guidance in partnership with Social / PR teams to drive brand awareness based on strategy
Candidate Requirements :
3+ years of product experience preferred within the Skincare category with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business strongly preferredUnderstanding of New Product Development process from ideation to commercializationPassion for Skincare Category with an organized and detail-oriented mindsetAbility to pivot quickly and juggle multiple projects to meet overlapping deadlines with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilitySelf-starting attitude, demonstrating a bias for action with high energy and commitment levelAnalytical / quantitative acumen with knowledge of key data and how to interpret that data, as well as practical application with trend forecastingTeam player that works well collaboratively, with a positive, engaged attitude and strong communication skillsStrong leadership skills and the ability to confidently inspire and encourage cross-functional teams to achieve collaborative successStrong analytical skills and proficiency for analyzing dataBig-picture orientation without loss of detailNetwork Marketing Experience a plusWhy Join Us :
