Physician Assistant - Certified

POSITION TITLE : PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT CERTIFIED (PA-C)

FLSA : EXEMPT

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :

• Completion of a four-year accredited PA baccalaureate program including a year of clinical training, OR c ompletion of a two-year accredited PA program (requires two years of undergraduate study) including one year of clinical training.
• National accreditation based on certifying exams. Continued employment requires 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and passing a re-certification examination every six years.
• Florida State Licensure
• CPR required
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) helpful but not required.
