Health, Safety, And Environment Manager
Manages all HSE related data including providing analytical support to assist in guiding the overall program management with regards to regulatory compliance and customer requirements along with company initiatives which reduce and eliminate work related incidents.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage all customer required third-party consortiums : ISNetworld, Veriforce, Avetta, EcoVadis, ICA, etc. Ensure customer consortium related issues are completed in a timely fashion and monitors to maximize customer grades. Create new accounts as needed.
- Create and manage the HSE data and information management system. Compile, calculate, analyze and interpret payroll hours and statistical data to determine TRIR / LTIR for all PF Holdings' entities and their individual locations.
- Manage the routing and completion of customer safety questionnaires, request for proposals and assist in MSA reviews.
- Fields and completes requests from sales group and district management regarding various HSE data.
- Assist in developing HSE presentations for customer and internal meetings.
- Analyze incidents and historical claim experience to identify frequency or severity problems and loss trends.
- Prepare management reports which statistically summarize related costs, chart progress and benchmark results.
- Establish and manage individual prescription safety eyewear (ANSI-Z87) program for all PF Holdings' entities to ensure approvals and billings.
- Participate in the data compilation of incident and injury investigations and cooperates in the preparation and organization of material and evidence for use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.
- Create and maintain vehicle schedule of exposure limits for all PF Holdings' entities. Report entails tracking of : Company of ownership, VIN, GVWR, location and value.
- Create and maintain equipment schedule of exposure limits for all PF Holdings' entities.
- Create and maintain physical property schedule of exposure limits for all PF Holdings' entities.
- Prepare annual and quarterly schedule of exposure limit updates for insurance company regarding vehicle, equipment and physical property.
- Procure current Organizational Chart and Named Insured reports for annual renewal.
- Procure and track Certificates of Insurance (COIs). Maintain current COI additions and deletions.
- Report quarterly payroll activity to all Non-Agreement states for Workers' Compensation. States include : MT, ND, NY, OH, and WY.
- Perform annual review of all PF Holdings' employee Workers' Compensation codes to ensure coverage costs are kept at a minimum. Provide changes to HRIS Manager.
- Prepare management reports which statistically summarize related costs, chart progress and benchmark results.
- Maintain documentation to assist with insurance audits and adjustments.
- Work with Asset Management to ensure proper vehicle and equipment valuations.
- Work with Fleet to ensure all vehicle and equipment sales are recorded and removed from coverage.
- Onboard any new entity holdings at the time of purchase.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in any related Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) fields such as Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Science or equivalent. Industry experience may be used in lieu of a degree.At least 2 years of safety-related experience in the industryFamiliar with HSE complianceExceptional computer knowledge and skillsAbility to identify critical process and system needs and implement appropriate action plans; these plans should be scalable.Ability to establish agreement and consensus with management.Ability to promote a team environment and must be able to initiate, lead and deliver sustainable results.Working knowledge of document controlWorking knowledge of SharePointWorking knowledge of root cause analysisSensitive to confidential informationMust work independently and as a member of team.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
