We are currently seeking a motivated File Clerk / Runner to join our team in Houston, supporting our File team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Run local errands for firm partners and managersRead, scan, document, and distribute / route high volume incoming correspondenceRetrieve, organize, and file client documents and filesMaintain document files using case management softwareFrequently assist in the movement of boxes weighing 30-50 lbs.Monitor inventories in supply room and kitchen, and conference room set-up and maintenanceAssist with special projects as needed from trial teamsREQUIREMENTS :
Manage a variety of daily tasks within the standard business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.mAbility to work in varying environments and be on your feetExcellent oral communication, writing, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently, effectively, and efficiently without significant supervisionAbility to prioritize and complete numerous and complex assignments on timeThrive on obtaining favorable results in a fast-paced law firm environmentWilling to work extended hours as needed to accommodate caseload demands.Familiar with Office 365 suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, and ability to learn contemporary technology in law practiceMaintain a professional appearance and demeanorQUALIFICATIONS :
