Director of Engagement Ministries

River Road United Methodist Church, a medium sized and missional minded church in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Director of Engagement Ministries. This position will create a Congregational Engagement Plan to ensure that members are engaged in multiple ways with the church community, missional outreach, offering spiritual support to others, and in prayer within their walk with Christ. They will oversee church wide events, empower the work of the Congregational Life Team as well as form new ministry teams, and participate in Sunday worship. This is a full-time position that offers a salary commensurate with experience as well as a benefit stipend. This position requires a person who is committed to their faith in Jesus Christ, is highly organized, can initiate and activate new programs and events, and holds excellent relational skills.
