Staff Accountant
Starkey is hiring for a Staff Accountant to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN. The Staff Accountant is responsible for the preparation of accounting analysis, journal entries, and balance sheet account reconciliations. This role will be responsible for automating and documenting processes.

Job responsibilities / results include actively participating in the month-end close process, preparing journal entries related to areas of responsibility including complex transactions and accounting estimates, preparing monthly financial reports in accordance with policies, maintaining accurate financial records by performing timely and complete reconciliations of financial records and systems, assisting accounts payable with 3 way matching exceptions for inventory purchases and reconciliation of vendor statements vs invoices outstanding in AP system, ensuring compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and statutory reporting requirements, supporting various cross-functional projects and initiatives within the organization, assisting in evaluating, implementing, documenting, and monitoring appropriate internal controls / processes, actively participating in working with external auditors, and performing other duties / responsibilities as assigned.
Job requirements include a minimum education, certification, and experience requirements of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of experience in public accounting or industry. Knowledge / technical requirements include fundamental knowledge of US GAAP and accounting practices and experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations a plus.

The annual salary for this position is between $56,210 - $73,000 / year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
