SAC BI and Planning Engineer

Overview

Position : Systems Analysis Senior Advisor, Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our technology team. The SME focuses on understanding analytics and planning requirements, and collaborates to design and develop SAC stories, pipelines to move data into HANA Cloud, and create HANA models aligned with strategic objectives and customer needs. The SME oversees coordination and implementation of dashboards and stories in SAC, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable planning models, data models, and reporting frameworks aligned with overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and other teams to understand budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs.
• Design and build data models and pipelines in SAP HANA Cloud / Datasphere to meet requirements.
• Manage the integration of data from various sources (e.g., SAP S / 4HANA, HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere) to ensure data quality, accuracy, and seamless data flow within the SAC environment.
• Design and build advanced SAC planning models, data actions, stories, dashboards, and visualizations to support financial and operational forecasting.
• Serve as the SME for SAC planning and BI, providing technical guidance, resolving complex issues, and ensuring the platform's performance and stability.
• Identify opportunities to optimize planning processes and stay up-to-date with the latest SAC features and best practices.
• Adhere to data governance policies and procedures, security, and data quality.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range : 116,800 - 194,600 USD annually, depending on factors including experience and geographic location. This role is anticipated to be eligible for an annual bonus plan.
