Tier 3 Unified Communications / Audio Visual Engineer

Tyto Athene is searching for a Tier 3 Unified Communications / Audio Visual Engineer to provide expert-level engineering, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support for enterprise Unified Communications (UC) and Audio Visual Multi-Media (AVMM) systems. The Tier 3 Engineer will serve as a senior technical resource, resolving escalated issues, designing advanced solutions, and ensuring optimal performance across telephony, video teleconferencing, chat, IPTV, digital signage, mass notification, Land Mobile Radio (LMR), and secure AVMM environments. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, strong problem-solving ability, and the capability to lead complex implementations in both CONUS and OCONUS environments.

Responsibilities :

• Serve as the highest escalation point for troubleshooting and problem resolution of UC / AVMM systems.
• Lead root-cause analysis for complex hardware, software, and network integration issues.
• Provide Tier 3 expertise for installation, configuration, and maintenance of UC systems across enterprise environments.
• Develop and optimize UC system designs, ensuring interoperability across multi-level security systems and enterprise platforms.
• Conduct system performance monitoring and proactively identify optimization opportunities.
• Provide detailed technical documentation including system diagrams, engineering change proposals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Design and implement upgrades, patches, and configuration changes with minimal service disruption.
• Perform in-depth hardware / software integration testing, staging, and validation.
• Support site surveys, system migrations, and enterprise deployments in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams by providing advanced training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.
• Act as a technical liaison with Government stakeholders for system performance, upgrades, and capability expansion.
• Maintain accountability for hardware and software assets through configuration and inventory management processes.
