Salary Range : $62,400 - $79,040 DOE

The Billing Specialist will play a key role in maintaining accurate project billing, reconciling contracts, and supporting both internal teams and external partners. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment-particularly with experience in construction or project-based billing.

Overview of the Billing Specialist Role :

Prepare and compile billing packages in accordance with contract terms, including lien waivers, AIA forms, and schedule of values

Submit billings through client portals and ensure timely, accurate documentation

Investigate billing discrepancies and process corrections as needed

Reconcile contracts and billing, ensuring consistency across documentation

Collect sub-tier lien releases from vendors

Support Accounts Receivable team with various ongoing and ad hoc projects

Perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications for the Billing Specialist

Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience

2-4 years of accounts receivable or billing experience; construction industry experience preferred

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);

Knowledge of automated accounting and / or construction management software a plus

Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
