Principal Software Engineer - Remote (25-33)

Description

MUST BE LOCATED IN CENTRAL OR EASTERN TIME ZONE! Spok is looking for a full stack software developer to lead a team of engineers responsible for the technical implementation for the modernization of our call center applications. Working closely with the Enterprise Architect toward design and implementation of common components across the entire Spok suite of products, and the integration of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence. This person will develop, enhance, and innovate solutions to improve the customer experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, and architecture of new features.
• Work with the product owner to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are met
• Analyze existing solutions to highlight areas for improvements.
• Participating in and influencing conversations during team ceremonies; backlog refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Support the application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support). Follow established development, documentation, testing and deployment processes.
• Provide development support for existing applications in the field
• Assisting the team to troubleshoot and quickly resolve critical production issues
• Stay current with and anticipate technology evolutions
• Work cross-functionally and interdepartmentally to resolve complex customer problems.
