Responsibilities

The Territory Sales Leader is responsible for leading a team of 8-14 Frontline Sales Representatives, Frontline Sales Leaders and Merchandising Team Leads to drive superior marketplace execution and customer service. The Territory Sales Leader will also have the opportunity to cultivate relationships and manage multiple priorities to make a positive business impact. This role will be located in Wintersville, OH.

• Responsible for volume, revenue and market share growth in a designated territory
• Responsible for managing sales and merchandising hours, overtime and labor budget
• Leading collaboration and team effectiveness of customer pod structure
• Manage, motivate, and develop a team of employees in order to increase sales, daily productivity and improve business performance
• Conduct 'work-withs / route rides' with employees to develop their selling and customer service skills
• Work proactively with customers to understand business needs and develop strong relationships
• Maintain process improvement to further enhance productivity of PepsiCo's selling and delivery model
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure orders are submitted, delivered, and merchandised according to plan
• Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
• Hold regular weekly meetings with cross functional teams, including Sales Representatives and Merchandising Team Leads to discuss sales and territory strategies
• Set productivity and service targets and ensure proper resource allocation between accounts
• Oversee the Merchandising Function, including ensuring proper coverage of full-time Merchandisers in their designated account territories
• As needed, assist Sales Representatives or Merchandising Team Leads with ad hoc tasks, including but not limited to coaching, intermittent daily routing, and / or customer onboarding
