Responsibilities
- Testing Carrier-specified Field Interoperability Test plans (FIT).
- Testing / troubleshooting hardware, software, and embedded software used in wireless voice and data networking.
- Performing sanity testing, stability testing, functionality testing, stress testing and feature testing on various devices.
- Performs lab tests and evaluates new wireless products and accessories, including verification of product features by simulating a variety of customer applications.
- Coordinate with R&D to implement new standards, specification-related changes, and / or carrier-specific requirements.
- Use technical engineering knowledge and experience to understand customer applications, test cases, and requirements.
- Work independently and determine an approach to work. The work is monitored / supervised based on milestones and key deliverable junctures.
- Identify the required documentation and process for each project. Analyze test data and reports to determine whether the design meets functional and performance specifications.
- Collaborate with other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software products.

- Diagnose protocol and system-level issues. Screen through and debug issues reported by the field team. Oversee field testing by doing in-depth log analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree2 - 4 years of experience in the wireless industry, preferably in Mobile QA.Previous experience running FIT test plans for T-Mobile, or other US Carriers.Proven experience in QA life cycle, test plans, test execution, and reporting.In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of wireless technologies, including LTE, NR, VoNR, Radio Interface, and / or exposure to RF network engineering.Excellent knowledge of features, including VoLTE / ViLTE / VoWiFi / RCS messages / OTA Activation.Excellent knowledge of Advanced features, including Modulation, Carrier Aggregation, MIMO, and Beam Forming.Expert in utilizing log capturing and processing Tools : QXDM, QCAT, QPST, ShannonDM, ELT, Odin.Expert in IMS SIP (Session Initiated Protocol) regarding VoLTE / IR94 call processing.Able to test in driving conditions and travel (25%) on short notice.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, communication (verbal and written) skills, and organizational and documentation skills.Perform well under stress and tight deadlines, which are expected in this role, including time-sensitive milestones, intellectual challenge, possible language barriers, and project management deadlinesSkills and Qualifications

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $105,500 and $130,500. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
