School Nurse - Registered Nurse 1 : 1

Job Description :

Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district to hire a 1 : 1 school nurse to work in Rockville, Maryland. As a school professional with SHC, you’ll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals who understand schools and your unique needs as a School-based RN.

1 : 1 School Classroom Nurse Contract Details :

• $45 – $48.50 per hour
• 9-week contracts
• This is a one-to-one nurse position to provide medical care to a student throughout the school day based on the student’s medical diagnosis and care plan
• Contract is for the current school year
• The nurse will be expected to follow medical care plans and medical orders IEP / 504 plans and provide effective and pertinent information to the special education team and student caregivers
• Nurse will be expected to complete daily documentation
• RN will be matched to student based on the nurse’s medical acuity experience
• 1 : 1 school nurse position may include bus runs, field trips, care for students with certain health diagnoses / requirements such as but not limited to behavioral care, seizures, diabetes, allergies, asthma, trach care, vent care, and g-tubes
