Job Summary

Bethel University seeks adjunct faculty to teach in its CSWE-accredited BSW and MSW programs, supporting students in justice-informed, equity-centered social work education.

Responsibilities

• Teach BSW and MSW courses in areas aligned with expertise (clinical, policy, community practice, etc.), offered in both online and in-person formats.
• Design and deliver engaging, justice-informed instruction that supports diverse learning modalities.
• Mentor and advise students to support their academic and professional development.
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive learning environment across multiple course delivery platforms.
• Demonstrate collegial engagement by fostering respectful collaboration, reliability, and professionalism within the department and broader university community.
• Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline.

Compensation :

At Bethel, we offer classes that are 1, 2 or 4 credits. Adjunct load will vary based on capabilities of the Adjunct Professor and needs of the department. We typically pay $1,000 per credit hour for online courses and $1,250 per credit hour for in person or hybrid courses.
