Job Purpose
Expand the company’s systems administration capabilities by focusing on enterprise and plant-level applications, vendor coordination, and business user support, while also providing backup coverage for core infrastructure responsibilities. Act as a bridge between business units and IT operations, ensuring applications are maintained, patched, integrated, and optimized, while driving reliability and user satisfaction.
Essential Functions
- Serve as the primary technical owner for enterprise and plant applications, including but not limited to :
Enterprise apps : 8x8, SSO integrations, Jira, Appian, TraceGains, camera / badge systems (e.g., Avigilon)
Plant software : Red Zone, Patch, and others as assignedPerform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patchesSupport on-call and after-hours requirements as neededTroubleshoot and resolve application-related issues in coordination with the Help DeskMonitor application performance and availability, escalating to vendors as neededManage vendor relationships for support cases, escalations, and upgradesPartner with HR, Finance, Operations, and other units to gather requirements and translate into actionsOversee licensing management and user provisioning processes for assigned applicationsWork closely with the infrastructure systems administrator to align application dependencies (servers, storage, networking, identity)Assist with identity and access management solutions (OneLogin, Entra ID / Azure AD, Active Directory)Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and internal knowledge base contentUse or develop scripting tools (PowerShell, API integrations, etc.) to streamline routine tasksProactively identify opportunities to improve application stability, security, and user experienceProvide backup support for core system admin functions, such as Windows Server, VMware, patching, and backupsCross-train with team members to maintain operational continuity and coverageComply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and proceduresPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualificatio ns (Education, Experience, Competencies)
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience in IT systems administration and / or enterprise application supportStrong expertise in enterprise application administrationHands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative CloudFamiliarity with IAM solutions such as OneLogin, Entra ID / Azure AD, and Active DirectoryExperience managing vendors and software licensingScripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, APIs) preferredStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilitiesComfortable working with both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholdersExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesDetail-oriented with strong documentation and process disciplineCalifornia, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Washington, D.C. Residents Only : The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $ 120,000.00 annually. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
