Your Mission

Infinity Ward is currently seeking a UI Artist. This person will work closely with the multi-discipline UI team to help deliver the vision for innovative, cutting-edge user interfaces for Call of Duty titles.

Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities :

• Working with the UI / UX Director and UI Art Lead to establish and push the look of the game’s UI, covering the frontend, in-game HUD and any additional art content required whilst adhering to the established UI Styleguide, game direction and overall theme and aesthetic.
• Strong understanding of the principals of design, color theory and typography.
• Creation of assets based on defined art styles from initial concept through to the final product. Assets can range from whole screen layouts, iconography, backgrounds, map imagery through to widgets and button helpers.
• Proficiency in After Effects, including the Red Giant suite and plugins like Universe, is essential for crafting high-quality UI Motion Graphics. You’ll be responsible for creating animation comps that communicate flow, interaction, and feedback while enhancing clarity, style, and user-experience across the frontend and in-game HUD elements.
• Authoring of comps and assets with motion in mind, to convey concepts, visualize functionality, flow, and animation states.
• Working with UI Engineers, UX Designers and wider feature and gameplay teams to problem solve and ensure visuals are creating the best possible user experience.
• Own and manage assets from establishing naming conventions, maintaining accurate and functional checked-in content, and proactively ensuring stakeholders are updated.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $34.28 - $63.42 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates, new hire compensation is negotiable.
