A company is looking for a Temporary Product Counsel to support its business units during a critical period of product convergence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal guidance on the convergence of lending products within the company's ecosystem
Advise on BNPL regulation, including consumer protection requirements and disclosure obligations
Draft and update customer terms of service and product disclosures for BNPL products
Required Qualifications
Law firm associate with experience in consumer financial services and fintech product development
Knowledge of BNPL regulation at federal and state levels
Experience in drafting legal documents related to consumer protection
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Understanding of relevant laws in advertising, privacy, and financial services
