We are looking for a Panel Fabricator to support our Primex brand. This role will work out of our Plymouth, MN location.

Our Primex brand is a leading provider of control solutions for the municipal and wastewater industries, offering pump control panels, full-featured web-hosted SCADA solutions, and highly complex system integration projects. Check us out at Primexcontrols.com or SJEinc.com!

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate parts that will be used to build control panels, including fabricating custom panels, back plates, inner doors, and brackets; cut, form, and create openings for mounting components on enclosures per layout.
  • Cut, bend, file, tap, and punch holes in aluminum, mild steel, and stainless-steel control panels.
  • Perform assembly tasks such as mounting and labeling components as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-year degree in construction, carpentry, or a similar field; 1–2 years of experience required.
  • Experience with metal fabrication (drilling, punching, tapping, cutting, etc.).
  • Proficiency with power tools such as jig saws, power drills, and grinders.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and follow layout drawings and some schematics.
  • Using a metal shear, break, nibbler, and hydraulic punch is preferred but not required.
  • Forklift driving experience is preferred but not required.

  • Hours : Monday – Friday, Day Shift, 8 hours per day.
  • PTO & Holidays : Up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in the first year plus 8 paid holidays.
  • Starting wage : $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Benefits : Robust benefits package including health, life, short-term and long-term disability insurance, dental and vision, and other options.
  • Commute : 13005 16th Avenue North, Plymouth, MN 55441.
