Product Manager Architectural Products

We are seeking a Product Manager Architectural Products to drive the growth and performance of our portfolio, which includes elevator interiors, wall systems, laminated glass, decorative metals, column covers, and other architectural surfaces. These products are sold both as standalone offerings and as integrated systems in commercial projects.
This is a hands-on role : owning product-line financials, identifying levers to improve profitability, and ensuring our products maintain the design relevance architects and designers expect. You'll partner with Finance, Operations, Design, Sales, and Marketing to ensure our products succeed as both revenue drivers and as design-forward solutions in specification-driven markets.
Core Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop product strategy grounded in the 3 Cs Company, Customer, and Competition identifying where our strengths meet an urgent market need large enough to drive revenue growth and sustain a competitive advantage.
- Build actionable roadmaps that balance growth and profitability while reflecting our design-led approach.
- Balance standalone material sales with integrated system opportunities (elevator interiors, wall systems).
- Monitor specification activity, market demand, design preferences, and competitive trends to inform priorities.
- Financial Ownership
- Partner with Finance to manage product-line P&Ls (revenue, COGS, gross margin, allocated OPEX, EBIT).
- Identify levers to improve profitability (pricing, sourcing, product mix, remakes).
- Report on performance by product category and recommend adjustments to strengthen results.
- Design & Market Engagement
- Equip the Product Design team with profitability insights that inform design direction and ensure products remain commercially viable.
- Help the design team understand which product attributes most influence margin performance.
- Partner with Sales and Production to support specifications with architects, designers, and contractors.
- Maintain awareness of standards (LEED, WELL, etc.) that influence specification decisions.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Operations to improve efficiency, quality, and reduce remakes in manufacturing.
- Provide product insights that shape marketing content, sales tools, and training.
- Partner with Engineering / Design on new materials, system innovations, and applications.
Qualifications
710 years in Product Management, Product Marketing, or related roles in manufacturing, building materials, or architectural products.Strong financial acumen with ability to interpret and act on P&L performance.Experience collaborating with design teams on product development and positioning.Understanding of the architectural specification process and sales cycle.Familiarity with sustainability standards (LEED, WELL, etc.) preferred.Strong communication and storytelling skills able to connect financial and design perspectives.Hands-on, analytical, and resourceful thrives in environments where systems and structures are still evolving.Why Join Us
