Position Summary
The receptionist represents Omega CDC by greeting all visitors and clients in a positive and helpful manner. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service both over the phone and in person.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Answering and routing all incoming phone calls for Omega CDC
- Greeting all visitors and clients and directing them appropriately.
- Taking and delivering detailed messages and ensuring they are received in a timely manner via email.
- Checking voicemails throughout the day and emailing messages to recipients.
- Supporting security of the building by following proper entrance and exit procedures for all visitors.
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Supporting teams by scanning and printing documents.
- Completing daily supply checks and reporting needs to the Office Manager.
- Ordering food as needed for meetings and events.
- Conducting daily janitorial walkthroughs and reporting them to the Facilities Supervisor.
- Opening and closing the building and ensuring doors are locked, lights and equipment are turned off.
- Restocking the kitchen and cleaning out the refrigerator weekly.
