What You'll Do

As our QLD Health, Safety & Wellbeing Partner, you will work closely with operational leaders and teams to embed safety into day-to-day decision-making and drive proactive risk management. This role is about more than advising; it's about partnering to solve problems, build capability, and deliver safer outcomes together.

You will lift safety leadership, strengthen risk controls, and support the implementation of strategic safety initiatives across your client groups. Based in Eight Mile Plains, south of Brisbane, this role requires some presence across our other QLD sites including our Brisbane office on Ann St and occasional travel to more remote sites, venues and racecourses.

This isn't a typical safety gig. You'll be embedded in the action, working side-by-side with operational leaders to weave safety into every decision, every process, and every day. You'll bring a boots-on-the-ground mindset, partnering with teams to not only manage risk but to lead, influence and empower.

Your mission? Lift safety leadership, strengthen controls, and turn strategy into action, by :

• Being a true partner to leaders and bringing safety to the front foot of operations.
• Leading initiatives that shift mindsets to reduce risk and build ownership from the ground up.
• Turning big-picture strategy into on-the-ground action, tailored to each site's unique rhythm.
• Coaching and empowering leaders and teams to take charge of their safety responsibilities.
• Using data and insights to tell stories, set priorities, and deliver results.
• Hunting inefficiencies and co-designing smarter, more sustainable safety solutions.
• Helping to build a culture of curiosity, accountability and care where safety is owned by everyone.
